We Are Watching Greatness...
posted October 17

On Sunday, it was the Rams 45, Falcons 29...and when you watch the Rams on offense, you are watching greatness...

Just ask the three Falcons DBs, who appeared to have Az Zahir-Hakim surrounded a full ten yards from pay-dirt, on the last play from scrimmage of the first half.

But all three could only watch as Hakim eluded them all...and scored on a play that had to be seen to be believed.

Or ask Falcons LB Mark Simoneau (53), who watched Rams RB Robert Holcombe as he streaked toward the corner of the end zone.

You can bet that opposition defensive coordinators were watching Holcombe's speed...which of course will only open up the field even more for Holcombe's running mate, RB Marshall Faulk.

Faulk rushed for a career-high 208 yards versus the Falcons, and at least one game officials (70, above) seemed to enjoy watching the Rams' offensive greatness.

And hapless Falcons LB Mark Simoneau (53) watched Faulk, too, when the best player in the NFL (Faulk, is there any doubt?) left him literally grabbing for air.

And the entire NFL TV nation watched as Tony Horne scored two TDs, one on a 103 yard kickoff return and the other the old-fashioned way...a TD pass thrown by Kurt Warner (his 17th of 2000).

We like to watch.
