Sure, there were some good things about last night's 33-20 Redskins defeat of the St. Louis Rams. For one thing, the Rams rediscovered TE Ernie Conwell (84) , who made a marvelous first-quarter catch to keep a drive alive... ![]() and WR Ricky Proehl, whose second-half TD reception (below) made the world right in the land of the Rams. ![]() RB Marshall Faulk (28) returned exactly 14 days after arthroscopic knee surgery, attempting to leap over tacklers while running the ball (below)... ![]() ![]() or picking up blitzing linebackers (59, white jersey, above). Meanwhile, placekicker John Hall (3, below) proved accurate in the field goal and extra-point department... ![]() ...and CB Dexter McCleon (21) contributed with another leaping interception (below). ![]() ...and less than half-way through the first quarter, the Rams led Washington 10-zip. ![]() More to come.
